I’m nowhere near a wine connoisseur, but I certainly do enjoy drinking it – unrefined palate and all. So when I heard that the New York Botanical Garden was having a wine tasting weekend, I made sure my schedule was clear.
The wine tasting took place last weekend featuring wineries solely from New York State, visitors were able to visit each booth for a tasting with a special souvenir NYBG stemless wine glass.
Of all the wine I sampled (which was a lot!), I most enjoyed Brotherhood Winery‘s Riesling and ginger cider and the sweet red from A & P Grape Distributors, which bottled the wine upon request, so you know it’s fresh.
After the tasting, it was such a beautiful day, Boyfriend and I took a walk around the garden, checking out the wetlands and azaleas.
It was the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
