This week my friend and I finally got a chance to visit Juices for Life. For the past year or so, I have basically been an apostle of Hey Fran Hey (if you don’t know her, you are seriously missing out!) She got me started with making green smoothies in the morning for breakfast and I definitely saw a difference in my energy level throughout the day. You’d be surprised how full you’ll feel after a well-made smoothie. If you don’t plan properly, it can be time consuming – which is where Juices for Life comes in. On one of my lazy days – and let’s be honest, this summer, I’ve had lazy weeks – I can just head over to JFL and get my fix. If it sounds like I’m an addict, it’s because their juices and smoothies are habit forming. I had the Mango Madness – a smooth blend of mangoes and strawberries. My friend ordered the Happy Hour – a sweet and sour mix of berries and lemon. Since we sat at the counter, we got to sample some of the excess juices from other customers’ orders. The staff is the other component of what makes Juices for life so awesome. Everyone who was working there was super friendly and helpful (there’s so much to choose from on the menu!) And you can even call ahead of time so your order is ready for you to pick up when you get there. I know I’ll be back and trying to get as many of my friends addicted as possible! No Styles P sighting while I was there, but maybe if I keep coming back…..
